About the Job
Foreign Sports Automotive is an independent European automotive repair shop specializing in Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Porsche, Audi, Volkswagen, and other European vehicles.
We are looking for a motivated and dependable Lube Technician / Apprentice Automotive Technician who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and wants to grow their automotive career.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills and advance into a full automotive technician position.
Responsibilities:
- Perform oil and filter changes.
- Perform tire rotations, tire replacements, and balancing.
- Assist with brake services and basic maintenance.
- Perform thorough digital vehicle inspections with pictures and accurate measurements.
- Check and top off vehicle fluids as needed.
- Inspect tires, brakes, belts, hoses, and other maintenance items.
- Assist experienced technicians with repairs and maintenance.
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow proper repair procedures and quality-control processes.
- Road test vehicles when necessary.
- Help maintain a high standard of workmanship throughout the shop.
Qualifications:
- Automotive experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Comfortable using computers and tablets for digital inspections and repair orders.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Ability to work well with a team.
- Willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback.
- European vehicle experience is a plus, but not required.
