About the Job
Foreign Sports Automotive is an independent European automotive repair shop specializing in Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Porsche, Audi, Volkswagen, and other European vehicles.
We are looking for a dependable, organized, and friendly Service Assistant / Customer Care Coordinator to support our front office and help provide an excellent experience for our customers.
This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable with computers, communicates well, stays organized, enjoys working with customers, and can handle multiple responsibilities throughout the day.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers professionally.
- Schedule service appointments and help manage the appointment calendar.
- Make outbound calls to customers regarding previously recommended or deferred repairs.
- Follow up with customers and help keep the schedule full.
- Set up and prepare loaner vehicles for customers.
- Check loaner vehicles in and out and maintain required paperwork.
- Perform monthly inventory counts and help maintain accurate inventory records.
- Coordinate and perform customer vehicle washes.
- Maintain filing, paperwork, and general office organization.
- Assist with customer communication and administrative tasks.
- Create and post basic content on the shop's social media accounts.
- Take photos and videos around the shop for social media content.
- Help keep our social media pages active and up to date.
- Help keep the front office and customer areas organized.
- Support the Service Advisor and shop owner as needed.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong computer skills and comfortable learning new software.
- Excellent phone and customer service skills.
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable speaking with customers.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Comfortable making outbound customer follow-up calls.
- Comfortable using social media and creating basic posts.
- Able to take clear photos and short videos for social media.
- Able to multitask in a busy automotive repair environment.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Automotive experience is helpful but not required.
Experience with office software, scheduling programs, customer management systems, or automotive shop management software is a plus.
We are willing to train the right person. Customer service ability, computer skills, reliability, organization, and attitude are more important to us than extensive automotive knowledge.
